ground almonds to bread

Three main ingredients! That’s it. For a delicious flat bread that is gluten free.

-preheat oven to 400 degrees

-cup flax meal

-half cup almond flour

In my own experience, I have found that grinding almonds with a coffee grinder to make my own almond flour is less expensive per pound, than buying the store brand package.

also, if wanting to make breads, using another gluten free flour, you will have to buy other ingredients to make it rise and so on. I found that even though almond flour appears more expensive, you can use almond flour by itself.

I also mix almond flour and flax meal together sometimes

Just create.

Test by taste.

Experiment.

-tsp baking powder

– you can choose to add some sort of fiber – I use 4 tblspoons of psyllium (found at most natural groceries)

– cup water

For flavor, I add cinnamon and tumeric

Mix together. Let rise for 5 minutes

You can bake in several ways. Use parchment paper on a cookie sheet and use rolling pin to spread thin.

Use a baking dish coated with coconut oil to however thick you want the bread to be. I find a 9×13 works well.

Bake for 30 minutes
