journaling as a child

May I take your hand and lead you to this promise in Him?

I pray this is drawing you closer to Jesus and He has filled you with unexplainable love and peace.

My heart’s desire is for this to be about Him and His heart for you, for you to find truth about who you are and what you begin to believe.

The steps and truth of this curriculum will create an atmosphere of trust and hope in finding Jesus any time, any where. Those deep craters of your heart will begin to close. His love will fill you to overflowing. You will begin to see life in a different light.

You will find peace.

Here is an example of a journaling with Jesus, that He told me months ago..

January 14th -Jesus, what do you want to say to me today?

April, come to me. Every part of you. I want to laugh with you and dance with you. You will grow in these times together. Even if at the kitchen sink or driving, or rocking Isaiah, I am near. You are so very loved. Believe it.

Ephesians 1:18 May the eyes of my heart be flooded with light, that I may know and understand the hope to which I am called.

April, you are called to a purpose I have for you and I will light that path.

Numbers 12:6 The Lord speaks through visions and dreams, making Himself known.

April, I want to continue to put the pieces together of all I have for you. Dream after dream. Keep writing. I want to pour more out to you. Stay faithful and steadfast to all I will show you. One step at a time.

Exodus 3:1-3 The Lord spoke to Moses in a burning bush.

April, I want to show you my glory as I did Moses through a burning bush. It will be unexpected. I Am. And I keep my promises. Remember.

Now embrace this time with Jesus and do some two-way journaling using the four steps below. Picture yourself as a child coming to Jesus. If you can’t write easily then draw a picture. Smile. Rest.

Quiet yourself down. Stillness, inner stillness, fix your eyes on Jesus, looking for what He wants to show you, recognize God’s voice as spontaneous thoughts that come to mind, pictures you see, Scripture verses that come to mind or words.

Write them down and then ask Him what they mean. Ask Jesus what He wants to say to you today?
