do you have an old lampshade that may need some color? try this to add life to any old lampshade.

you will need :

book pages

craft glue

hot glue gun

and thick yarn or twisted fabric scraps

Cut or tear pieces of an old book (be sure to smell the book first 🙂 and assemble them as you would want to glue them onto the lampshade. Apply glue to the pieces and place on the lampshade. Allow to dry for two hours.

Take twisted fabric scraps (in previous blog post on how to make yarn out of fabric scraps)

OR any color thicker style yarn. Hot glue them to the top and bottom of lampshade all the way around.

And voila, a new lampshade!
